Proper Breathing

Pilates Breathing

1. Deep long inhale through the nose.

2. Slow exhale through the mouth like you are blowing out of a  straw.

– As you inhale pull the abdominals inward & upward.

– Expand the ribcage.

– Fill the lungs front & back with oxygen.

 – As you exhale squeeze the ribcage & ring out the lungs.

– Pull the abdominals inward even more.

– Never let the stomach poke outward or relax.
